How do I get rid of gnats! HELP?
Question:When we first moved into our new apt. we were so busy we didn't really do the dishes as often as we should and all of the sudden we had lot of little gnats! I have chased them around with bleach cleaner and have killed I swear like 100000000 and they won't go away, also I have a cat and they have found their way into the litter box so I have to change that like every day! HELP!

Gnats love standing water and your drain pipes. Ammonia daily in your sinks help,and get rid of standing water. I have this problem at work too (restruant) they hang out in the floor drains,I use degreaser there. Don't know what to tell you about the litter box, but they should go when you get them out of your drains. Terminex man at work said they plant like a gazillion eggs a day in drain pipes so be persistant with the ammonia and don't lose heart,they will go away.
Gnats live of fresh soil and the dead roots of your household plant´s , So let your plant´s dry out for a week, and you will get rid of them
