Help on keeping snake from coming in house kepp relocating him but keeps coming back.?

Question:We have lots of snakes this year cause property owner behind us cleared some of woods behind house.I need to open my back door while doing laundry to let some of heat out cause I don
t have an outside vent and no outside wall to my dryer.I have a black snake that comes in probably different ones but look same one to me.I'm not scared of him I put him back to a little wooded area left bhind property only to walk up on him next day left quickly that time could not find him .Next day found my buddy(my son calls him my buddy)back.Able to get him and put him back even further into wooded area that was left.He came back again today.Scared of my 3 years old daughter walking up on him anyway I can build something maybe to put across back door to keep him out.Way too hot in house to keep door shut and I have to keep front half of house cool for daughter because of open heart surgery she don't do good in heat.Don't want to kill it cause I enjoy not having mice or millions of toads which I hate.

Answers:
If you can handle the smell, put mothballs around the perimeter of your home. It is an old home remedy but it really works & is inexpensive. Good luck!

Do what we did and chop it in half with an ax.
unless you kill it, it will keep coming back, they like the heat from the dryer
OMG - I would have had 3 heart attacks by now. You are a brave, brave person.
If your dryer is gas you must have it vented outside. Carbon Monoxide will kill you. If your dryer is electric you still should vent it outside. The moisture will invite termites and feed mold in your house.

Now on to the snake problem. If you live in an area where you can have chickens they love to eat snakes and toads. If you cannot have chickens get a screen door.

You can also catch the snake with a glue board and take him far away and use vegetable oil to set him free.

You can get glue boards at WalMart for a dollar or two. Just pour on the veggie oil and the glue will dissolve in a couple minuets.
Actually, you're safe. Teach your kids where he is and how to leave him alone. Enjoy his presence. Enjoy the lack of mice and other critters. Kids are adaptable, they'll learn to tolerate, respect, and enjoy the snake if you teach them to. If the kids know he's there you won't have a problem.
Brave woman, I would die at the thought of having a snake (wild snake) coming out of the woods into my house. Maybe you can use some of that chickenwire fencing to keep him out of the house and double it so that he can't come through the holes and make it high enough that he can't or climb over it. Or you can use:
Snake-A-Way Snake Repellent
An EPA approved, university tested and environmentally safe, outdoor repellent that keeps listed snakes out from areas where people live, work or play.

Also, I heard that they don't like moth balls and you can put them around the back yard and under brushes so that he is chased off of your property.
Please ignore the first answerer's ridiculous advice about chopping it in half. I have little tolerance for people who kill snakes just because they are snakes. First verify it is poisonous, and if it isn't, you have nothing to worry about. If it is, call animal control to relocate it.
There are several commercial snake repellants (snake away is one). One old fashion trick is to use sulphur, but you have to reapply it every time it rains.
All snakes can bite, just not all are poisonous.
Put up a screen door or tack nylon netting over your door.
He will keep coming back to the heat from the dryer.
If it is a she, you may have more snakes than you really want. How would your daughter react if she woke up with one in bed with her some day (to keep warm) like someone I know.
I did here that sulphur works. But I also heard you can line the perimeter of your home and yard with lime. And that should deter the snake.
