Anything to look out for when getting a burglar alarm, looking to pay around 200 pound?

Make sure that the alarm box can be seen. Its good to purchase one that the light can be seen at night. Consider a 2nd alarm box at the rear of the house if needed this can be a false one but they are still affective.
For this price, even in pounds, not very much to get. In any system, you want to look out for any obstructions in the walls such as electrical wires and plumbing pipes. Check with the local constabulary and see if they have a fee for false alarms. Ck any company's record for faulty installations.
