If the coil for the boiler in my oven went, can I still use the oven?
Question:If the coil for the boiler went can I still use the oven to cook? I don't use the boiler offten and when I went to use it, it made a zapping noise and then smoked. I believe the coil went, but before I can replace it I will need to cook so can I use the oven?

yes, but the cooking will not be as good because, the top always heats to a certain temp to enhance the cooking process.
As soon as you can turn the breaker off, or unplug the stove they are always on a 220 electric outlet. Oh well do what you must.
