pyrex used to make a range of pots and pans called `vision` they were a brown glass and heavy but if they r still available im sure they would be fine
I get mine at walmart, or target.
You used to be able to get them years ago but not sure nowdays. My mum has a halogen hob and she just uses her normal metal non-stick pans to great effect. Copper bottomed pans not recomended though.
Try the world market they have some nice cookware and also may give you leads for what you are looking for. Be expecting to pay a good penny for them. Cookware and cutlery you will get what you pay for. Walmart and other stores of similar fashion have bottom end stuff. Good cookware set your looking at 1500 dollars or more.
Yes - I remember Vision glass pans (they also did a frying pan). They became a standing joke as they were absolutely awful to cook with. They could burn potatoes that were being boiled - the bottom got so hot. The frying pans were never used more than once as everything you tried to fry just welded itself to them. You will regret buying glass pans I promise you. There are plenty of great pans out there that are suitable for halogen hobs. Just ask in store and they will sort you out.
