Homemade insecticides?
Question:Do you know of any good recipes.

we use this mix for aphids, seems to work good
1 qt. water
1 tsp. dish detergent
1 tsp. cooking oil ( makes the solution stick to plants)
1 cup distilled vineger
put mix in spray bottle and spray whenever u see aphids.
20 mule team borax .critters may not eat it but, it sticks to them and they carry it back to their nest and it causes dehydration . it is also fairly safe around kids . sprinkle a small amount around the perimeter of each room .it also works well outside .sprinkle a heavy layer around your foundation .it will kill all critters but, is slower than pestisides . its also cheaper .
