Any ideas on how i can deal with noisy neighbours?

Environmental Health Officer at your local council. They have a lot of powers now. They will ask you time keep a diary of times, how long noise went on, level of noise etc. In my experience they are pretty good and do something about it. For example if it is loud hi fi, they could even confiscate the unit if needs be. Do that rather then get into direct conflict with them
It's best to stay on good terms with the neighbors, but maybe you should let them know in a nice way that you can hear them at night. You could say."was there a problem last night? I heard loud noisies all night."
I once had noisy teen neighbors. I put in better windows and it blocked out the sound. I know that is an expensive way to handle it... In my case, the neighbors moved after a while.

Join their parties.
Throw your own loud parties.
Throw block parties and have everyone make tons of noise.
I have been in this situation a few times and I would just let them know. Politely tell them that you can hear them and that you would like for them to try their best to be more quiet especially during certain hours of the day or night that bother you the most. If it is an unpleasant altercation then just call the police and begin to file noise complaints with them. It will get better, but try working it out before it gets nasty. Just deny contacting the police to your neighbors and be friendly to the best of your ablility.

i dont think there is any point in saying anything to youre neighbour as they obviously have no respect for you in making the noise in the first place. its a waste of time phoning the 999's as they allways arrive when the music has stopped 10 hours to late. if its before 11.00pm at night there is not much you can do anyway. Try to tolerate it i say. do you work are you old find something worth worrying about. When youre neighbours start being abusive to you then worry.
Have a word with them , If this does not work , put a disc on repeat the track over and over again , while having the speakers turned towards there wall ,
Go out and if they say anything say you are hard of hearing and must have forgotten to turn it off , before going out
