Regarding lawn mowers. what is best? An electric cordless one or a gas one?
Question:Does the maintenance for a gas should be something to avoid? Or a more heavy cordless electric? Have you have experience with both, if so what is preferable?

The big question is how big is your yard. If you have a big yard, then electric lawn mower are impractical. It is very hard to drag that huge power cord around behind you. If you have a small yard then get an electric mower. I agree, electric lawn mowers are better for the environment. If you want to get old school, get a reel mower. They are clean, they use no power(except your back) and require very little maintenance. If you have a large yard, gas is the only way to go.

Gas mowers work much better. As long as you keep oil in it, blades are easy to sharpen maybe once every 2 years or so, you should have very little to no maintenance costs.
