Why are my nasturtiums dying?

Question:I started some nasturtuim seeds in a pot inside. The stems grow for a while with really tiny dime - sized leaves. Once the stems get to about 6 inches long, they don't support themselves anymore. They dry up pretty quickly after floping over the side of the pot. The seed pack says that they are good for hanging baskets or other containers. No metion of support required for the stems.

What should I do?

Answers:
They naturally sprawl , then grow up from there & repeat the process. What size pot? Need large ones . Naturtiums get big, fast ! Normally used in the ground. Could be exhausting nutrients in the pot . Inside they get little wind or light, so are weak. At this point , need to be outside . Start more, outside .When you move your indoor ones out, put them in a shaded, sheltered spot for a few days, or they will get sun-burned & wind-burned..
