I just bought a money tree (pachira) - how often does it need to be watered?

Question:The care instructions say to submerge it 3/4 up in water for 15-20 minutes but it doesn't say how often to do this.

Answers:
No, not heard of a Money Tree plant being submerged in water.

The Money Tree is one of the easiest houseplants to take care of. It grows well in low-light conditions. If you forget to water it for a few days, no problem.

These plants do best with indirect sunlight. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. If leaves start "crinkling", it means the plant is being under-watered; when they turn soft and yellow, it means it is being over-watered.

Repot every few years and they can grow to upwards of 7 feet.
