What are these bugs?
Question:A few nights ago when I was getting the bath ready for my kids, I noticed little gnat like bugs in the tub. There were what seemed like hundreds of them. I don't think they are gnats though because they don't fly...they kind of skip, like a flea, but not as high. And I don't think they are fleas because they're bigger than fleas. I think they are coming from the drain. They are also in my bathroom, but they are in the sink, not the tub. What do you think?
Answers:
Not sure without seeing them but if they are coming from the drain I would put some bleach down the drain to clean them out. Good Luck
there idaho patato hoppers or thats a slang name but all you need to do is turn off the water to your house and stay at your parents for a month

Are you sure they are not lice? they don't fly and if you have given your children a both and not washed the tub out that would make sense that they would still be in the tub and also they fall differant places may account for them in the sink. Check your childrens hair very carefully.
Those are called tub bugs, they originated in the Tubara desert in Tubland.

I had that problem too. I have a garden tub and had alot of potted plants around it, I removed the plants and pour bleached down the drain, they are gone for now.

Fruit flies/Fungus Gnats
Got any live plants in the house?
They like garden soil with decaying vegitation
do they have wings? If so, I would bank on fungus gnats (Family: Sciaridae)
If no wings. my best guess would be Collembola, also known as spring tails (Families: Entomobryidae, Isotomidae, and Hypogastruridae)
Google these family names and look at the images.
