Is the stuff that comes out of a fire extinguisher toxic?

Question:Some students in my building had a wild party and sprayed fixe extinguisher all over my stroller, I want to know if I have to have it professionaly cleaned or is it ok just to wash it down myself?

Answers:
Washing it down with a strong soap and water should be fine. There are no toxins in a fire extinguisher.

I would certainly - ask the Fire Dept. for their view;
on the matter.as to whether just wipeing it off is enough !??
