Do candles lose their scent?
Question:I have a brand new Glade candle, if I never light it once will it lose its scent? If so, what can I do to make sure it doesn't lose its scent? (This is for all scented candles, not just Glade).

Out of all the candles I've bought, the only ones that don't seem to lose their scent are from either Gold Canyon Candle Co. or Yankee Candles. I buy candles in jars, with lids, and after they cool off, I replace the lid until I light the candle again. Maybe that helps the scent from fading. Of course, never burn a candle with the lid on.
i dont think they do, i have one that smells like choclate and iv had it for a while it still smells like choc :)
