How does a person go about destroying an ant hill or ant colony?
Question:there are a lot of ant hills where i live and i was wondering how to get rid of them. if you look on the ground you can see a bunch of ants walking around.

you never know where the actual queen is. once you get her killed you kill the colony. the ants can travel over 150' underground. bastards!
you have to drop the poison that the ants will bring back to the ant to eat..call your local pest control

But just go into any garden section of like a target,walmart, k-mart they are bound to have some kinda of ant posion stuff you just sprinkle on the ant hills.
Do you mean how do you do it?(use a migrifine glass! it really works!) or why would a person do it?

gasoline works good . start by pouring around mound first and then on mound lite and be careful
The easiest way is to call the Orkin man or the Terminix man. I have the Terminix man come on a regular basis & he sprays for ants & fire ants. It's a job bigger than you, so call one or the other. It doesn't cost that much.
