Something is eating my new tomatoes?

Question:What kind of worm or bug eats round holes in tomatoes? I have checked the leaves and stems and have not found any worms on them.

Answers:
it could be anything like beetles or caterpillars eating the holes.might be a good idea to dust them with sevin dust.japanese beetles are notorious for green tomatoes

could be birds,
You may have snails. They are out at night and might not see them in the day time. Put some stale beer in a container on the ground. Check it next day to see if you caught any of the little nasty critters. Hope this helps.
