Cleaning house siding?

Question:i have a place on my house where a group of kids have thrown eggs at and i was wondering if i were to use bleach and water to removing the egg stains, would the bleach turn my shingles white. The siding of my house is white and i do not want to have a stained roof.

Answers:
I don't know for sure that this will work, but I suggest you try a solution of an ordinary clothes-washing detergent WITH enzymes. The enzymes in detergent break down proteins and fats - which is exactly what eggs are composed of. You may have to keep the area damp with the detergent solution for an hour or so - say, by using a pad of damp rags that you keep damp as necessary.

Hope this helps.

Rent a pressure washer and use that
or do the old fashioned way, Scrub with warm soapy water

better yet, go get the kids and threaten legal action if they do not clean the mess up
Actually i hate to inform you of this, but there are many ways to get the egg itself off, and many suggestions are great here..but the staining part is already done..no matter how good the egg is gotten off..the stain will be there from the egg proteins dried, and not the solvent used...Get the culprits to pay for replacemsent of any siding, shingles etc if at all possible.or repaint it..
