Huge acorn / St Mary's County MD-1" wide,2" long, shell covered 1/2" of acorn,what Oak Tree is it from?


Question:It would not be a bur oak, as the shell of the acorn was normal not burred.

Answers:
it has to be a swamp chestnut oak if its that large and not burred. its the only one left.
