Anyone ever ordered a sofa from DFS? I need one by 13th Aug, is it possible??

If you need it by Aug 2008 you are in with a god chance. If you need it next month either they have it in the shop or do not buy it.

Yes it is possible. Also there is likely to be a sale on before then too. 1 month turn around for a new sofa isnt unreasonable. You will be Ok.
Yes, but make sure with the staff there before you buy, also don't forget they sell the old display sofa's at a really good price and you can take them there and then.

I bought my sofa from DFS two years ago- I waited about eight weeks, but it may depend on the store, and maybe you could pick it up yourself?
Also known as Dodgy Furniture Store, do yourself a favour and go anywhere else but DFS.

Daughter ordered a leather suite from DFS - took 12 weeks from ordering.came from Italy.

i think it depends on the sofa
when we were moving house we ordered a brown leather one and were told it takes 12 weeks to manufacture, however it was about 13-14 weeks before we received it
fortunately we had ordered it in advance so we were only in the house for about 1 week with no sofa
Dont think so , mine took 12 weeks and i had forgotten what it looked like!! Good luckx
we ordered a corner suite in the boxing day sales and it arrived four weeks ago,
