Do you recommend drying herbs in a food dehydrator?

Question:If so which ones. Will they lose their flavor or potency? If not what do you recommend?

Answers:
Moviegirl is right! I have one too and I use it all summer to dry my herbs, peppers, onions and garlic. One hint ... once dried, put into an airtight container and place it in the freezer for at least 24 hours. After that you can store it in your cupboard.

I have an american harvester food dehydrator and that's the best one i've ever used. Food doesn't mold in it. All dried herb have more intensity than fresh ones, that's why recipes call for 2teaspoons of dried or 2 tablsepoons of fresh. I use it enough that I just leave it out.
