Will using a generator in the house make the electricity bill higher?

Question:

Answers:
You can not run a generator and be hooked up to the power co. at the same time with out a specialized hook up and besides gas is expensive with the proper hook up a wind generator would work and the power company would buy your extra power

no, they run on gas.
Maybe I'm taking your question too literally but don't use a generator in your house, dude. That's a good way to die of carbon monoxide poisoning. Only use a generator in a well ventilated area.
your question makes no sense .
Huh? If you are using a generator to provide electricity, why would the bill go up? The power is out, right? And it isn't efficient at all. Just use a generator for situations were there is no power available, after a storm or in wilderness, then only for temporary power. And like the other answer, I hope you don't mean literally in the house.
