Answers:
My job is boring (which is why I am reading through thousands of FindHomeAnswers questions). I have started knitting for one thing. I know it sounds like little old lady stuff, but you can learn to make just about anything, and if nothing else, it can lead you to a nice nap (not at work though).
Another thing I started was that I put up birdfeeder outside my window. I have one seed feeder and one hummingbird feeder. I bought a bird book and now I have lots of little critters to learn about. It's surprising how many different birds there are in your own yard, and after watching them, their little daily soap operas are quite addicting and funny to watch. Put a bird bath out there too!
You can also teach yourself how to bake! No one at school/work will refuse cookies!
Go for a walk. Call an old friend or relative. Surf the web for recipes that you think you could handle making. Play with the dog/cat. Exercise.
Draw, read, color or paint, give yourself a pedicure, cook, bake some bread or brownies or make dinner!
Plants some flowers. Go to a place that sells plants and look for some annuals (plants that live one season) and buy something you like. Dig holes and pour in water, then plant and water again. Make sure they don't dry out by watering them 2 or 3 times a week. Take a picture when they are in their best bloom. If you like gardening, buy some perennial plants which are more expensive, but come up again the next year. Plant bulbs in the fall and watch for them the next spring. If you have one flower bed to plant, that is a place to begin no matter how small the area is.
