you didn't ask for more, but stove would be next, but i do use the microwave lots more than the stove, but some things are just better cooked on the stove.

Everything else can be improvised by the above, and I can make do with a Toaster Oven instead of the real thing if I have to. Maybe for survival style cooking, I like it better.
Fridge is by all means the #1 appliance.
Stovetop is a wildly close second. I could be argued to swap 'em. As long as there's a cooler or something to take the place of the fridge.
Cooler, Coleman Stove, Knife. These are the smallest version of the essential elements that make cooking possible. Foil might give the knife a run for it's money; but at the moment, I'm standing fast with the first three.
