Prank dorbell ringing?
Question:Hey guys. The last three days some people (probably teenageers) have kept on ringing my doorbell and running away. I am becoming extreamly annoyed as my wife is ill and it keeps waking her up when shes trying to rest. It would be very much appreciated if any of you helpful people could offer me ways how to stop this problem.

if its happening at the same time, wait at the door then open it when they ring the doorbell
or call the police and tell them to come around that time to catch them
Unhook the doorbell --- they won't know it is not working, I guess, but it will stop getting your wife upset.
or try this product that temporarily disables the doorbell during times of rest.
put a sign up saying "dont ring the doorbell " now apply a low voltage current and let the next ringer get zapped well I warned you

Is it a wireless door bell?
Did you just replace the batteries?
If the answer to both is yes it just might be something else..
I had the same problem with a wireless I used to own. I found out no one was ringing the bell..But Every time a cop anywhere in the neighborhood keyed his mike the bell would go off..
After the batteries got used a little bit it wouldn't do it.They just happened to be on the same frequency...

We have a wireless doorbell. Someone in the neighbourhood is on the same frequency as us so whenever someone rings their doorbell, ours rings too. Luckily, they don't get many visitors! You can always try a different make of doorbell is this is your problem. Blessings, Angela.
