Any suggestions on how to get rid of rats??

Question:

Answers:
This is what we did...

-Always keep your house clean
-Don't leave scraps of food on the floor,
-Put mousetraps where you often see the mouse or in the places they want to go..

Bring a cat.THIS IS THE BEST OPTION.

BECAUSE IF YOU BRING A RAT POISON INSTEAD OF CAT THEN:

1.RAT POISON MAY PROVE DANGEROUS IF THERE ARE CHILDREN AROUND.
2.RAT POISON EXPIRES AFTER 9 MONTHS BUT CAT LIVES FOR A LONG TIME.
3.CAT IS A CUTE PET, NO NEED TO FEED IT IF THERE ARE TOO MANY RATS.

4.ITS WORK IS GUARENTEED.TOTAL SATISFACTION.
get a very large cat and keep it in the house and feed it only dry generic "meow mix" type cat food ,put old "tom & jerry " cartoons on as many tv sets as u can get ...reward cat when rat/rats are eaten with chocolate rat shaped candies and install a ratissorie for use when a rat needs that special flavoring that only slow roasting can provide...
I have a suggestion but it will only work if you live outside the city. I grew up in the country and my dad said that a rat can sense a cat. We always had an outside cat but he said that if you can spread the used litter from a litter box around the area a rat will not come near it. Just the hint of a cat in the area will keep the rats away. Find someone with a indoor cat and get their used litter. If you live in the city your on your own.
