New leather set has long wrinkles on seats and backs is this normal?

Question:Our new furniture has long wrinkles on seat and chair. Almost like someone ironed in a large crease. Is this what is know as natural wrinkles or a mistake in the hide. Friends who visited asked what is wrong with the couch and chair. I have never seen leather have long lines embedded in them like this. I paid a lot of money for this set.

Answers:
These could either be natural markings in the leather if it is an aniline style leather or it could be a fault. Go back to the shop first and ask their opinion on it.
