Annoying moths/bugs around porch light?
Question:Everytime i open the door to let our dogs out and in at night i let all these bugs and moths in and they drive me crazy. what can i do to stop them?

Arrgh, aren't they annoying? I hate june bugs and moths most of all. They sell these yellow lightbulbs at any hardware store or even KMart and Wal*Mart that the insects don't see, however, they don't provide a whole lot of light. I got so aggravated that I simply keep the lights off on the porch, as well as the entry way to the house. If they can't "see the light", they won't be swarming all over the place. Another solution might be fly paper strips, but those can be sort of messy, not to mention disgusting. The yellow bulbs really do work, they just don't give off a tremendous amount of light. Use a bug light (yellow lightbulb), available at any hardware store or Walmart.
Go to a home improvement or hardware store and ask for an insect repellent light. it about $4-6 but it worth it.
You can change the light bulbs to a yellow light. they sell them everywhere. For some reason the bugs are not attracted to the color yellow
I agree with the bug light theory.
