How do I go about setting the Clock on the Microwave Oven .?

Question:I have just bought a secondhand G.E Microwave and to be honest, I do not have a clue how to programme the thing.

Answers:
some are different on mine you have to press clock and the numbers and thats it

press time and then the keys that have arrows up and down-then set -this is it really..
Every microwave is different, so it's hard to say. Usually you need to push down a button for a couple seconds ("timer" or "clock" or something similar) until it catches and the clock starts flashing. Then you use some other buttons to either increase or decrease the number to the correct one (probably the same button that you would use to change the amount of time you cook the food). Some other button will advance to the next step (i.e., first you fix the hours, then the minutes, then possibly am/pm).
I have a GE and all you do is press clock, then the numbers, like for 10:35 you press 1 0 3 5 and then press clock. Ours has am and pm so it prompts you to press one of those buttons, but our last one didn't.
I didn't see this for awhile, but on ours, there is a cheat sheet along the top of the inside of the door. I was always looking in the microwave when I opened it. Then I noticed it one day.
Good luck.
