What can i do to save a small colony of flying squirrels from loggers?

Question:my brother has a small colony of flying squirrels by his house, the amish are planning to log all the trees. They are taking trees as small as four inches.

Though I am not always crazy about PETA, you might consider contacting them. Their website says, "If you are reporting an animal emergency, please call our office at 757-622-7382." There may be something they can do. It's worth a try.
