How much money could i get from a garage sale?
Question:im having one this weekend, and i want to get enough money for my dream laptop which is 649.50 including tax. would a regular-sized garage sale be able to get that much money? if not how much?

It depends on the items you have to sell, the area you live in, and the turnout for your garage sale. I have held yard sales that yielded well over $1,000 and some that yielded under $500.00. Best advice is to do all you can to generate traffic to your sale and be prepared to negotiate over price. Hopefully, you will be selling stuff people will want to buy. Many people are disappointed when garage and yard sales featuring lots of kids clothing and the like fail to make any money. The fact of the matter is that there is so much of this stuff for sale, that buyers will only spend nickles and dimes for kids stuff. The same goes for books. Big ticket items include sporting goods, tools, working appliances, and furniture that is in reasonable shape. These items can get you the kind of money you are after.
Good luck with your garage sale.
we made over 4,000 on our garage sale
$600 is not unreasonable if you have some furniture, make up, nail polish, etc. in the sale.
It will depend on where you are selling, what you are selling, and how many people know about it. I would say you might not be able to but you will get part of that. You might get over that or you might get only $100
why don't you plan on getting a low amount...like $100-200 and if you get more you will be laughing.
depends on how much stuff you are selling
