Which ones are the best winter quilts/doonas?

Question:when choosing a quilt, what are the factors to be taken into account?

Answers:
The most important issue is the "fill" or the amount of feathers in your quilt. The higher the amount, the warmer the quilt. So, it is really up to you: How warm do you like to sleep? How cold are your winters?

The next thing is look for is to see that the quilt has been sewn in channels or blocks. This keeps the feathers where they are supposed to be and keeps them from all moving down to the bottom of the quilt at night!!

Be sure to get a duvet or quilt/comforter cover. Then you wash the cover and don't have to wash your quilt so often.

Good Luck!!
