Someone has stolen my memorial vase in the crematorium?
Question:I put a memorial vase at my uncles bench on Thursday with some roses in, they are the normal green plastic ones you can get at the florists. I went up sunday being fathers day, and somebody had pinched it and the roses, they did leave the other one there.
Why / who would do such a thing, i was so upset and cross the fact that someone had the nerve to pinch it.
Now i dont no to buy another one or do some thing different, has any one got any ideas why they pinched it? and do you think i should buy another one?

I'm sorry to hear you were a victim of a rather nasty piece of stealing. It does happen I'm afraid and there is not much you can personally do.
But you can notify the cemetery superintendent and maybe send a letter to your local paper. That way other eyes and ears are looking out as well.
I still 'talk' to my mum even though she died many years ago ! I seek her wisdom when I need advice. 'Talk ' to uncle and tell him how upset you are. Then buy some more flowers. Put them at his bench. Forgive the fool who did this and start another day.
seems the same sort of people who wreck the cemetry they have no respect whatso ever for anyone
try replacing it but if that one goes maybe you need to think of other ways of remembering your uncle
seems to be a reflection on todays society, where nothing is sacred anymore, why someone did it is beyond reason to me.
I would just get a wreath made up of artificial flowers and leave them is there any way you can stick (glue) your stuff down so as they can't be stolen
