Plant citronella at all 4 corners of your home...Snap leaves in half every once in a while to release the scent.

Make sure you have no standing water within 100 feet of your yard... ie, fountains, ponds, buckets filled with water,birdbaths, etc.

put out sevin dust everywhere, dump all water buckets, it is really impossible to rid yards of mosquitos because you would have to do the whole neighborhood.
It is a moisture condition, get rid of all standing water around your home. If you have none it could be coming from the neighbors house. If that is the case call your local ag department to take care of it.
depending on where you live you could put up a couple of Martin houses. Those birds LOVE mosiquitoes. So do bats if you have a high, out of the way place to put a bat house.
Also get rid of any standing water.
