Africcan Violet Flowers are getting mouldy?

Question:Hi there
I understand that you are not to water African violet (mine's purple) and let any water touches the leaves... which I haven't done! but I sprayed some adjacent plants with water spray and it seemed to have affected the Violet.. as the flwoers are getting mouldy...? Is that why? or some other problem with the plant? any help please?

Answers:
this is an easy problem to solve for you.from now on you must only water your african violets from the base, stand them on a plant saucer and put the water into the saucer only. the other thing is the water must always be warm but not hot.you are quite correct in thinking no water should touch the leaves and flowers.you can feed the plants in the same way through the saucer not the top.

aww man!
would it be possible to dry wipe it, put a fan on nearby for ventilation
over spray can do it,yes you water violets, , I water from the bottom up, place violet in dish, water dish, water will be drawn up into the plant, make sure pot has a drain hole on the bottom, is the soil fresh?, do you use violet fertilizer?, to large a pot isn't good, or you may have bought a bad plant
