I have lots of little red ants around my house.are these fire ants? I live in Ontario Canada.?

I doubt it, too cold a climate. I only know of them in Australia and S. US. But, you could sprinkle some cinnamon around the house to keep away the ants you do have. They hate cinnamon.

I live in California, but they are common around here. They are mean and they bite, but to be on the safe side call a pest control company to come out to inspect it, it shouldn't cost anything. They want your business!

I seriously doubt they are fire ants. They most likely are Pharoh Ants. They are harmless but irritating!! Do you notice them mostly in the bathrooms and kitchen? Raid has ant "traps" with stuff in them to get rid of them. They have a few different ones so read the label to get the right one. Just place them where you see them most. Around the sinks and outlets. But DONT use any chemical cleaners or bug sprays around them. If you do they ants will just move somewhere else in your house.
