I have a brown leather lounge which is wearing away on edge of seats (meaning that the colour is disappearing)

If you are in the Uk contact LTT who have trained technicians who can deal with this kind of problem. Do not use shoe polish it will come off on your clothes.

Go to a shoe repair store and buy a brown shoe dye that is the same colour as your lounge and dye the edges with it. You can test it first by dying a small portion that is hidden. If it is leather it should work. Good luck.
