Growing with compact florescents?

Question:I just bought a 150 watt (using 40 watts of electricity) compact florescent bulb to grow my tomatoes indoors with. It has an output of 3000k and 2600 lumens. Im just growing one plant, i was wondering if this would be sufficient. If not, any suggestions on a bulb that is not HID (metal halide, High pressure sodium, mercury vapor) but is cheap.

i appreciate any help!

Answers:
It would be plenty for most house plants, but I doubt it will be for a tomato plant. They want tons of sun even when you plant them outdoors.
