Ok this is going to be very long, but I just need feedback(kinda requires visualization)?
Question:ok so I'm thinkin of a floorplan of a house but I have no idea how it would go in construction terms, so as best I can describe it & then if you could offer opinions a/o suggestions? ok, here goes.
coming up on it would be a cobblestone road that turns onto an unpaved path through the "woods" that leads to the house itself.The front yard has 2 trees, one on each side of the front walk, rimmed by flowers, and the whole rim of the yard is flowers too.The view of the front of the house is a halfmoon 3-step w/ a jutted window area to the left(more on that later), a balcony above it, and 2 windows to the right, with the driveway & garage being on the extreme right side to the house.Walking in, there's an entrance hall(not very long though) that on the left leads to a parlour type area. This room, as you enter, has a piano facing the door, a...I dont know what to call it, possibly...meeting pit(like in elementary school libraries) to the right of the door. Continuing in this direction...

Employ an architect and an interior designer and tell them all this and hey presto they will get it up and running for you.

That room with the piano is simply a lounge, den, or living room. It doesn't have to have a TV and all that modern crap. I like your plans. If it makes you smile and feel good then of course it is livable.
I am sure an architect and then builder would be more than happy to do all you envision..just bring your checkbook with a whole lot of funds!
The visualization is very lengthy and hard to follow. Check out http://ubuildit.com/ . maybe getting down on paper for a better feel for what you want might help you out. They can also help you make modifications that will help you better utilize your living spaces.
sounds like a good plan...you will need a architect and contractor...this is all custom ...so a big check book will be needed...planing , doing your homework will be the key to completing your dream home.get every detail in writing...
