How often should I trim my lawn?
Question:
Answers:
when it gets stubbly
Trim it before it gets too long, every 10 days, maybe even sooner, depends how fast it grows.
It depends on how "obsessed" you are. My neighbors literally cut theirs every 3 days. However, I only do mine once every 2 weeks.
I would say to make your lawn look nice, you should mow once a week. A good tip to keep away the crab grass and weeds: mow with the blade on the top notch( to keep your grass tall) - mow your grass like this for a season and you will have thick, plush, GREEN grass!
First off, you should not be trimming anything...your man should! Get that boy off his butt and out to the garage! LOL
Seriously though, it will depend on what type of turf you have? Generally though you should cut once a week. If is does not grow that often, then you have a bad lawn and it needs some attention.
maybe once a week but also it depends on how much it rains. do not cut it too much when it has not been raining as your lawn may turn this terrible yellow color.
This time of year I would trim my lawn once a week, do not use a very low setting on your mower at least two above, by not cutting to tight you should get a nice green carpet ,that will be a pleasure to walk on, a little weed and feed just before it rains will enhance the grass to a lovley shade of green.
When it needs it!! Once a week or more!
when you lose yr cat, yr small children and the neighbours start selling tickets to the newest local safari park!!!
