I got some lovely leather sofa's out of Argos and they were not hugely expensive but look great. The best bit was buy the 3 seater and get the 2 seater free!

Has to be Ikea. You can pick up a really cheap sofa and they're all modern and stylish...though they might not last forever!

if you really want to buy new then dfs or places like that will be your best bet , but have you considered 2nd hand( nearly new) ? try visiting your local Auction house , they will have a weekly or fortnightly general household sale and there are some bargains to be had

DO NOT GO TO DFS we put a deposit on a corner suite in the january sales and we are still waiting for it. the last excuse was it's being made in Italy and they are having trouble with one of their suppliers,(get this, they are from the UK)
