Does anyone know how to use electric timers from Ikea that you plug in?
Question:They came with no instructions. I have tried the obvious, setting the correct time then pushing in the dials when i need to use the timer.

THey're the Ikea TANDA light timers.
The black keys around the edge of the clock can be pushed down. When the arrow on the dial lines up with the key that are pushed down then the timer is ON. If the black keys are in the up position then the timer will be OFF when the arrow lines up with the key.
Note also that when the slider on the side of the timer is pushed up the timer is permanently on (which rather defeats the objective - but is useful as an over-ride). When the slider is pushed down (revealing a picture of a clock) then the timer settings apply.
