Greetings, I am wondering what is the average cost of cement foundation for small house with no basement?
Question:I am researching building the most inexpensive, yet safe, house I can, and this house will be small (do not know square footage yet, but imagine the typical small and simple one floor 3 bedroom home without basement, only foundation)..
just wondering what others might have paid themselves for something similar, or any related info on foundations. any information greatly apprecialoved! thanks!

There's a lot of factors that will affect the cost. Linear footage, height of foundation, where you live, how much of the work you are willing to do, etc. Without knowing these things it's impossible to even come close to an estimate.
There's building magazines out that have floor plans and costs of both Slab and pored basements you might want to check with them to get an idea of what you'll be looking at in price.
