How does a mouse fur looks like?

Question:Last week I discovered a mouse in my garden. I went to the hardware store and bought some D-Con pellets. I put the pellets were I found the hole of the mouse. Yesterday, I found a strange fur by the garage doors. Do you think that it was part of the mouse?
