Help needed with kitchen aplliance?
Question:My wife left me last night and I am struggling to cope on my own.
I can't seem to find the instruction booklet for the kettle and I really want a cup of coffee. Does any one know how they work?

I am sorry to hear your dilemma. I take it you are referring to an Electric jug or kettle? Do you have it plugged in to wall socket? You just press the knob on top. Seriously do you really not know how? What were you doing whilst your wife was in the kitchen? By the way don't forget to fill the jug with water.
This one is really best left to the experts.
Try not to do it yourself.
If you mess up you will have big trouble.
Go to a cafe meantime - or a pub. Some pubs do coffee (Wetherspoons is dead cheap and good coffe) Andof course youcan always drown your sorrows at the same time.
Then put an ad in the contacts adverts saying something like' good barista wanted to assit helpless male'
Should do the trick.
fill with water plug it in and switch it on

Rinse kettle.
Fill with water up to a mark "Max" or "Full".
Hands and outside of kettle dry.
Plug into wall electrical socket.
Turn on power.
Look for a switch on the kettle. Flip it in the direction of most resistance. Usually downwards or inwards.
Wait till the switch trips back.
Our kettle didn´t either have an instruction booklet, but with trial and error I figured our how to boil some water to make some coffee. How the heck did you learn how to make coffee?
go to cafe nero,
approach staff, when prompted, order specific coffee you wish you purchase, when made and handed over to you, submit the required amount of money to person behind counter. remembering to take required amoutn of sugar if not ask if you want sugar. add sugar to taste. then hey presto!! you havent dirtyed kettle or mug at home. and less washing up! lols
