First of all vacuum them all up, and then empty the bag outside and spray them with Raid. Some animal lovers will say not to spray them...but I say you better do it or they will come back in.

Then wipe as many surfaces with bleach and water that you can.

With all those ants in your house, the source is very close, and hopefully you won't have to get an exterminator. On your own, try liquid ant bait - the ants take that back home for the others to eat. You will probably notice lines of ants come back into play once they get over the cleaning. Put the ant bait close to where they are coming and going from.

Spraying Raid Ant and Roach Killer will work as well, but the spray can be harmful to people and pets. Make sure you have ventilation as you do this. Spray all along the baseboards throughout the house. If you get that specific Raid, you only need to use it every two weeks. But if you have tons of ants that just keep on coming, sweep away all the dead ants everyday and then reapply the spray once a week.

I live on the seventh floor (top floor) of an apartment and the ants actually come through the caulking on the bath tub...very strange, but the treatment I described keeps them under control. Good Luck.

RAID
Ants don't like black pepper or dish soap. It will be a tad sticky for a bit but they will leave.

ants without uncles
Ant bait, couple of days later they all disappear.

Drop it on the trails against the walls, and in the cupboards under the sink in the corners, where ever you see them so that a pet or child will not be able to get to the poison. About 3 days or so and the first invasion is over. You will have to do it a few times till the nests are dead, but they track the stuff back to the nest and it kills them all dead.
I have an answer that will make your ant, spiders, roaches go away. there is a product named: "CHINESE CHALK", it looks like regular chalk. You can buy it at any Asian store for about $1.00 for a box of 5 or 6 sticks, harmless to humans and animals, but deadly to insects. the only other thing is to place some like raid canisters bombs , set them an leave your house for 5 hours, return open all windows. turn on your fans and air conditioners to clear the smell. all bugs should be dead that should do it
I've had good results with Terro Ant Killer.
This is one of those kinds of baits that the critters ingest and take back to the colony. It takes a few days for them to all die off but they won't come back for at least a year.
The best part is you don't have to randomly spray dangerous pesticides around. Just put a few drops on the plastic tabs that are included in the package. Put a few more drops after 2 or 3 days.
As with all pesticides be sure to thoroughly wash you hands after handling the container to be sure none got on you.
As with all multi-legged invaders be sure to remove any food supplies present. Not to imply you're not fastidious but often just cleaning house with a stringent cleanser will solve the problem.
After you get done wasting your money on Raid, and drugstore killers, call a professional like Bulwark. They guarantee the ants will be gone..you have far too many ants to treat them yourself.
Place something sweet like a small piece cake or something on the floor and when they come to eat it vacuum them up. you may have to do this several times to get them all. Then take a big piece of chalk and draw a line across the floor in your door frame. Ants do not like chalk and wont cross thru it.
