Lava lamp messed up?

Question:my lava lamp has all its umm lava at the top and it dosen't want to come down how do i fix it

Answers:
Is the lightbulb underneath working? If it's not---buy a new one. If it is, turn off the lamp and let it cool for a few hours. Then turn it back on to see if there is any new activity.
