Does anyone else think that garden gnomes are creepy?

People usually don't use garden gnomes correctly in their landscape. You dig a hole about twice as wide as the gnome and about a foot deep. Then you put the gnome in the hole and bury it. With any luck you'll have a bed of gnomes in 6 weeks. If not, they won't be around to scare your daughter. I'm with your daughter--I don't understand why anyone wants these ugly things in their garden.
Go to Barnes and Noble and show her the large "Book of Gnomes" showing all the different types of gnomes.
That will comfort her.

More stupid than creepy. Goes to show, people will waste money on anything.
