I have birds making nests on my porch.. i keep hosing them off, but they keep comming back!?
Question:I dont want to hurt them, but stop them from making nests! help!

Don't hose the birds. You have to keep dismantling the nest. They will move on. I had the same problem with some finches on my light fixture on my porch.
You're going to have to physically remove the nests. Have you checked them to see if there are eggs in them? If there are, I hope you will let nature take it's course and remove the nests after the baby birds leave. You could also try putting a piece of clothing or something w/ your scent in or as near to the nest as possible. Why do the nests even bother you anyway? We have em all around the place here, I kinda feel like it was the animals land before it was mine. I try to live harmoniously w/ all creatures if possible.
