How often are you supposed to spray pesticides?
Question:when does it become unhealthy? is there a certain amount of times like once a month or once a week? i need to know because my mother-inlaw constantly sprays her plants all the time and it drifts into the house? i want to know if she can cut back on the spraying. she does it like once or twice a week. couldnt she cut down? i am pregnant and im afraid it will effect the baby while in the womb and after birth.

Your mother-in-law is trying to get rid of you!
The most frequent use of any pesticide I know is only to be use every two weeks, at most.
Get out of this house!
I know you are pregnant and hormonally wacko. No offence, it's just what happens during pregnancy. Don't get too alarmed. Chat with her and try to reason with her. If she persists in endangering her grandchild...
SHE'S NUTS!
If this crazy person thinks her precious begonias are more important than her grandbaby you need to get the hell away from her...
IMMEDIATELY!
These chemicals are nothing to play with.
Most likely neither you or your baby will be harmed but what kind of lunatic would take that chance?
Even if you just have particular sensitivity due to your pregnancy you need to remove the disturbance.
I've know women who loved their cats and dogs who, when they became pregnant, hated their smell and got rid of them.
Tell her to do the right thing: forget the plants and care for the baby.
I would follow the directions on the product your using.Have you considered using non-pesticide control such as the flamethrower method?Once you spot the offending insect, use hairspray or WD40 as a giant flamethrower and basically incinerate the thing.
Hi katie c,
I just read an article about pesticides, how it cause brain tumors.
I suggest you not go over to you mother-in-laws home as this can be dangerous to say the least. My youngest daughter walked bare foot on the neighbors lawn & we ended up in the emergency room it turned out what was sprayed on the lawn had casued an allergy to my daughter. I suggest you read about pesticides in yahoo or google. And then pass the information along to your mother-in-law maybe that way she will stop using pesticides besides there's natural ways to use other products not so damaging to take care of pest on plants. Congrats to pregnancy, good luck & have a good day. :0)
