I cannot get my sewing machine to work. The top thread wraps around the bobbin case every time.?
Question:The machine is a kenmore 10 model # 1262182 and i bought it used i have no manual and cannot find one online I think I have it threaded correctly .

How about asking a friend that sews? Have them come to the house and check it.

tension is too tight. adjust the settings. there is a tension for the top and one for the bottom. just play around with them to find which one.
usually if the thread gets messed up it's either because the machine has not been threaded correctly, if you when you start to sew you don't hold onto the two threads, or if the bobbin wasn't wound tightly enough, or if the tightness of the thread has changed somehow (maybe a person bumped it and the number changed).
Clean out the bobbin case and start all over...rethread...and hold the threads as you start to sew.
it could be you have the bobbin in the wrong way. Sometimes that causes the top thread to snag. looking at the bobbin with the thread hanging it should look like a p not a q - the bobbin being the round bit and the thread being the tail. Then slip it in the bobbin case and you should be away ...
