How do i defrost my freezer?

Question:I have frigidaire small chest type freezer, I have been looking everywhere for instructions on how to defrost...even the owners manual doesnt say how...anyone know how to do this

Answers:
Put a lagre bowl of HOT water in there and let it loosen. then w a PLASTIC spatula try to put it between top and bottom of ice. Good Luck.

I would just put the contents in an ice chest, and unplug it.
empty the freezer then turn it off (unplug it) let the ice melt then drain it and turn it back on (plug it back it)
well if it is not self defrosting then you just remove everything unplug it and then open the top let it warm up some then use rags or whatever to soak up the water. you can use a hair dryer to help melt the ice but just don't electrocute yourself.
you remove every thing from the freezer and put something underneath like a bucket the hold the water when its melting un unplug the fridge and leave open the ice will begin to melt and the water will go into the bucket when this is done and all the ice is gone you can plug your fridge back in and its finished ! good luck xx
turn off freezer remove items and put pans of hot water in freezer until defrosted then replace items.
use your hair blow dryer. don't get it too close to the ice, just to be safe.6-8 inches.turn on high.it doesn't take too long till the ice starts dropping off.
